Part-V Activities
Every student has to enroll herself in any one of the following Part V activities.

- There are two units off NSS. Our NSS activities since 1980 are remarkable. It has reached many villages through special camps. They have been organizing Campaigns, Awareness Programmes, Medical camps and Street Plays to help the society.
- One unit of NCC is functioning effectively in the campus and the parades are conducted regularly and the cadets are attending camps.
- Students are given special training in First Aid through YRC.
- Yoga training is given in USSC.
- Aids Awareness programmes are offered by RRC.
- Green Campus Campaign is organized in Environmental Club.
- Rotract and Leo clubs offer many useful programmes themselves and also with the local clubs, including the Blood group identification of all the students of the college.
Clubs and Committees
Various Clubs and Committees are functioning effectively in the campus. They provide wide opportunities to the students to learn and do community service through them.

Blood donation is made by the club through the local Government Hospital. A nearby fishermen area called Nambiyar Nagar has been adopted in the Village Adoption Scheme to be in constant touch and contact to offer regular and relentless service. Students are motivated to participate in quiz contest arranged by the neighbouring institutions and also in district and state level competitions through the club. In general the activities and services of the clubs and committees are many.
