Department of Statistics
About the Department
The Statistics Department of A.D.M. College for women was started in August 1980 as an allied department. Ancillary statistics was introduced for B.A. Economics, B.Com., and B.Sc., Mathematics. Allied Statistics was introduced also to B.A., History from 2005 to 2009.
Ms. S. Jayalakshmi was appointed as Assistant Professor during 1980 to 1985. Ms. K.S. Usha was appointed as Assistant Professor in this Department in 1985. She served in this department from 1985 to 1987.
At present there are two staff members in the Department, Mrs. A. Madheshwai (Head of the Department) and Mrs. K. Pushpanayaki
