A Coaching centre for competitive examinations was opened by the then District Collector Thiru. M. Jeyaraman, in February 2009.

Coaching for Competitive Examinations

• The centre provides training to the students in general knowledge, quantitative aptitude, mental ability tests, etc to get through various competitive examinations.
• Guest lectures are arranged in all general subjects and special training is given to them in answering subject related questions.
• Out sourcing programmes are also arranged by the centre.
• Special programmes, Exhibitions and guest lectures about various opportunities and avenues available for the students are offered through the Employment exchange, Nagapattinam.
